A graduate of Towson University c/o 1996 with a B.S. in Marketing, Frida is the face of Maryland Signs & Graphics. She's the oil that keeps the shop running and the glue that keeps us together... you get the idea.
Frida has an eye for good signage and can easily pick out good design from bad with a keen attention to even the smallest details. Being around the kids, traveling, and food tasting are the things she enjoys the most.
David is an award winning graphic & multimedia artist who has worked primarily with digital media since also graduating from Towson University in 1996 with a B.S. in visual communication. He got his M.A. in Digital Arts from Maryland Institute College of Arts in 1999.
David's passion is large format graphics, which he and Frida (his wife), been doing since 1996. With experience in working for the healthcare industry for over 16 years, he has produced everything from academic posters and graphic design to display cases and wall graphics/murals for numerous professionals and businesses. When Dave's not working in the shop, playing with the kids, travelling, and volunteering around the area keep him plenty busy as well.
Also a native of Baltimore, Katie graduated from CCBC with an A.A. in Graphic Design in 2009. She is a hard worker and a valuable asset to our team. Katie works on everything from graphics to installation and is especially helpful in the production of our signs.
Katie is an avid movie-goer who loves to play Nintendo Wii and explore local bike trails.
Ricardo Contreras grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he studied Graphic Design and Photography at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts. He just graduated with a BFA in General Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. He specializes in Photography, Photo Manipulation, and Design, while also helping with production and installation.
Ricardo enjoys tinkering with technology and playing video games in his off time, while also maintaining a regular artistic studio practice.
